Here is a list of the words and phrases we covered in this week’s little Jèrriais lesson on BBC Jersey (Monday after 6pm – note new time). We revised weather vocab from December and added these new phrases:

• i’ vente = it’s windy
• i’ vente la pé du dgiâbl’ye = it’s very windy (it’s blowing the skin off the devil)
• i’ vente la pé d’un orîngna = it’s very windy (it’s blowing the skin off a moose)
