Nearly all Jèrriais nouns ending in –age are masculine. There are a very small number of feminine nouns ending in –age:
- la cage = the cage
- l’ôrage = thunder
- la rage = rage; rabies
la page v. lé page:
- eune page is a page (of a book)
- un page is a pageboy
la nage v. lé nage
- la nage is the action of rowing or swimming
- lé nage is the distance rowed or swum
l’âge = the age
may be either masculine or feminine
